Université des Montagnes is a private, non-profit university in Bangangté in the West Region of Cameroon, founded in 2000.
Programs in the Health Sciences include Medical studies, Pharmacy, Dental Surgery, Nursing and Veterinary Science.
Science and Technology programs include Computer Science and Network Management, Network Management and Telecommunication and Use and Maintenance of Biomedical Equipment.
The non-profit organization that later became Université des Montagnes was founded in 1994 by the Academy for Educational Development (AED). AED is a non-profit organization committed to solving critical social problems and building the capacity of individuals, communities, and institutions to become more self-sufficient.
The university's first classes began in October of 2000 with 43 students. [1]
